Our Drum Major, Jason Barth, a Maryland native and Carroll County resident, has over 35 years of experience in the competitive Scottish pipe band scene. He is a champion amateur piper and competitive pipe major, who upon retirement from piping, became a pipe band instructor and Drum Major under the tutelage of Senior Drum Major, M. David Ricklis.

Jason has led the Macmillan United Pipe Bands and the Embassy of the United Kingdom for over 10 years as Drum Major in parade functions. Jason and his husband and cats live nearby here in Westminster, Maryland.
