Children's Activites

- NEW THIS YEAR………Highland Cow Story Time! The lovely Ms. Heather at Sheppard Farm has written a children’s book all about a Highland Cow and how family comes in all shapes and sizes, and this year she’s inviting children to the new Storytime corner in the Alesia Building at 11 & 4 on Saturday and 11 & 3 on Sunday to hear the story of Winter, a Scottish Highland Calf!
- NEW THIS YEAR….. is the KID’S ZONE! Try out axe throwing, or golf putting, or bouncy critter riding, or caber tossing, or cornhole, or curling just like you’ve seen in the Olympics! This is your chance to get a little energy out and try a few things.

- Make sure you stop by the living history section of the festival to see how Celtic people lived in years past.
- Check in with the Children’s Activities folks for information on where budding athletes will get an opportunity to test their skill at highland games.
